		<description><![CDATA[I have commuted on this road for 30 years. The approach to this section of road has always been minimilist. The idea being to kick the can down the road hoping for Transmission Gully when they  hand the coast road over to the district council. The upshot has that the Paekakariki section has never had proper alignment and is subject to constant repair.
I understand all the voters that matter are in Auckland but the deliberate neglect of SH1 in this area is just shameless.]]></description>
