Paraparaumu ticket wins $779,000 in Lotto

A ticket bought at Coastlands in Paraparaumu has won the Strike Four prize of $779,072 in last night’s Lotto draw. A Waiheke Island ticket won $1 million. It was sold at Ostend Store on Waiheke Island. Read more »

Conflict of interest: the Agency says more

Paintballs fired at moving cars on SH1; 20-year-old Levin man charged

Levin Police were this afternoon called to deal with a group of three men who were firing shots from a paintball gun at passing cars. The group were in a gray/black Toyota Hilux with large wheels. They travelled from Otaki Beach to Levin and fired a paintball gun out the window of their moving vehicle. Read more »
