Figures released today by leading payments provider Paymark show that Christmas Eve this year was Paymark’s biggest day on record with $238.4 million spent through the national network, 18.5 per cent up on the same day in 2012. Kawasaki’s Nick Cole makes history, wins three events at Cemetery Circuit

Waikato’s Nick Cole gave himself a late Christmas present as he wrote his name into the history books today. The 27-year-old Kawasaki rider won both Formula One (Superbike) races at the famous Cemetery Circuit Boxing Day race meeting, the traditional third and final round of the annual Suzuki Series, and then capped off the day by also winning the stand-alone 10-lap Robert Holden Memorial feature race, the Wanganui event’s signature race.
