Art movement aims to solve the world’s problems

Press Release – NZ Academy Of Fine Arts
‘Prealism at the Academy‘ showing works by Dr Romuald Rudzki NZAFA, charts the origins of a new way of painting through kenosis – emptying of the self.

This wholly original 21st century New Zealand art movement is accompanied by the global launch of Rudzki’s 2017 book Secrets of the Artists which describes 31 secrets artists keep largely to themselves, from grappling with ‘What is art?’ to ‘When is it finished?’

Rudzki then takes these secrets and develops them into a method called ‘RUCS’ which can be used to find solutions to any problem in art or in life.

As he says ‘This is the new art of the 21st century, a new way of painting, a new way of seeing, a new way in which creative methods can prove themselves better than any other approach and it happened here in God’s Own Country first.’

Rudzki will be present throughout the exhibition, demonstrating the technique and available for interviews.

A YouTube video of the 21 Prealist works can be found at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCncNxlbS1g

The exhibition runs from Wednesday 19th July to Wednesday 26th July at the New Zealand Academy of Fine Art, 1 Queens Wharf, Wellington, open 10.00am – 5.00pm each day with free entry.
