Earlier News from NZ Police
Police are looking for a woman who has been missing in the Eastbourne and Days Bay area since she went for a walk last night.

55-year-old Kerry Scott went for a walk from her home on Muritai Road in Eastbourne at around 9pm. Her partner called Police at around midnight reporting that she had not returned home.

Kerry had said she might go for a swim between there and Days Bay on her walk.

Since she was reported missing, Police units have searched the streets of Eastbourne and a Police SAR team with a dog unit has carried out a shoreline search. Unfortunately nothing of interest has been located.

Police are continuing to make enquiries but are extremely concerned for Kerry’s safety and ask that anyone who may have seen her in the area since 9pm last night contacts us immediately via 111.
