If shots are fired in Hopper Street, it’s only a police training exercise

News from NZ Police
On Wednesday Thursday and Friday, Police will be undertaking training at the old Arlington Apartments, Hopper Street, Wellington.

There will be an increased Police presence between 9am and 3pm. This will include staff carrying firearms.

During these times you may hear some loud bangs coming from the venue. Police reassure residents that there is no cause for concern, as it is a routine training exercise.

If you have any queries or concerns please contact the Wellington Police Communications Centre on (04) 381 2000.
