News from Wellington Rotary
Put 4 July in your diary if you want to be part of inspiring the Wellington of tomorrow. There will be big ideas at Wellington: Creating Tomorrow, a forum inspired by the Rotary Club of Wellington.
The Forum has been running for eight years covering topics from privacy and security to lessons for Wellington from the Christchurch earthquakes.
Our audience will be multi-generational, from all walks of life and inclusive of Māori, Pasifika, Pākehā and new immigrants. As well as young people, we’re engaging those with young families and the elderly, so that every perspective is heard. The common denominator is a passion for discovery and a commitment to tangible change.
So come and join in the conversation and be part of creating your Wellington of tomorrow.
Among the speakers are:
Grant Robertson, MP for Wellington Central
Tamatha Paul, President Victoria University Students’ Association
Wayne Mulligan, Port Nicholson Block Settlement Trust
Moana Mackey, Chief Advisor to Chief City Planner, WCC
Sophie Handford, School Strike 4 Climate
