News from NZIFF
The New Zealand International Film Festival is a Wellington-based national event that has drawn New Zealanders to a stunning selection of films for more than four decades. Over the years, the NZIFF has accumulated a substantial collection of both film and festival posters, and it is now planning to make more room on its shelves and to share these cinematic treasures with the public.

In association with the NZIFF, the Wellington Film Society is organising a nationwide sale beginning at the start of June.

The Great Film Poster Sale will appeal to film fans, poster collectors and connoisseurs of design. There may be a physical sale in Wellington but to give everyone a chance to take part, we’re starting with online purchases through TradeMe.

This is not only an opportunity for members of the public to get rare and unusual posters, but to find posters that are pieces of art in themselves. Reflecting the diversity, global stretch and inclusiveness of the NZIFF, a number of European and Asian languages are included in these cinematic souvenirs.

Follow the Wellington Film Society on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for more information, or keep checking the Wellington Film Society TradeMe page.
