I couldn’t be more thrilled that the Wellington founders of Commonsense Organics have made the NY honours list. They’ve been shining lights for me and many others in sustainable business and huge influencers of organic market development. [via twitter]

A huge congratulations to the New Year’s Honours 2021 list.
So wonderful to see so many theatrical legends recognised, Angie Farrow, Murray Lynch, Victor Roger and Jo Randerson. [via twitter]

Melissa Moon: What an absolutely stunning record of achievements in athletics! As for guiding Maria Williams in the London Marathon in which Maria’s time earned her second spot in the International Paralympics rankings – how wonderful for both of you.

Laurie Foon you amaze many of us, supporting this great venture and yet you voted to sell the Jewel of the Crown in Wellington (Shelly Bay) to a developer without consideration that this part of the city could be developed into an eco/organic area creating not only places for people to breath the fresh air but also to enjoy the coastline. There is only one winner if the development goes ahead and that’s certainly not the people of Wellington and New Zealand.

We need affordable housing that can only be delivered by the Govt and the council working together. The housing at Shelly Bay will be expensive. Working with developers benefits developers.
