Prince William opened New Zealand’s new Supreme Court in Wellington just before midday today. In the morning heat more than 1000 people lined the streets around the new building.

Some female fans shouted, “We love you Prince William.” While people at the back of the crowd waved their cameras in the air to try and get a shot of the visiting royal.

By opening the new court building in Wellington today, Prince William was performing his first official duty for the Queen.
