After a sustained attack on a liquor store attendant in Kilbirnie on Tuesday afternoon, Police are seeking help to identify the attacker.

Detective Sergeant Sam Mercer says “We are hoping that these new images will help someone recognise him.

“Witnesses have confirmed that the offender was bleeding from his forehead after the attack.

“We are interested in hearing from anyone who saw this male, or who knows someone matching his description, as he would have had a fresh injury to his forehead.
