Wellington Police are appealing for any sightings of a convicted and high-risk child sex offender. Multiple warrants to arrest have been issued for 47-year-old Darren Albert Jolly for alleged breaches of an extended supervision order which included 24/7 electronic monitoring.
On Wednesday last week he fled from his Wellington address heading north. Police believe he has taken a vehicle from a Kapiti car dealership later that day.
Police are appealing for any sightings of this vehicle which is a blue Honda Civic sedan registration AYT134.
The public are warned that Jolly has a history of failing to stop and driving dangerously at extremely high speeds to avoid being arrested.
