We were at Normandale in the Valley and it sure was hot! not a breath of wind, tuis galore and the view over Petone to the heads was quite spectacular. the sunset was the end to a perfect day and going home the almost full moon just completed it.

On Boxing Day we were out at Waikanae, where the locals sadly showed us quiet neighbourhoods that will be destroyed by the Kapiti Expressway, including flyovers, onramps and offramps, if Steven Joyce’s project gets final approval.
