Wellington Police remain concerned about the whereabouts of a Wellington man who was last seen on 26 November.

Concerns are growing about Morton Broughton, says Detective Senior Sergeant Donna Howard.

“No one has had any contact from Morton for almost six weeks now.

“We’ve contacted family and associates from all over the country in the hopes they may have heard from him over the Christmas period.

“They’ve all reiterated their concern for him and hope he can be located.

“His bank accounts remain untouched and he hasn’t been spotted by anyone.

“People may recognise him by the red rose tattoo on the left side of his neck”, says Detective Senior Sergeant Howard, who says the missing man may be in Christchurch.

Morton Broughton is a 43-year-old Maori. Police would like to hear from anyone who might have seen him or someone who matches his description.

Anyone with information should contact Wellington Police on 04 381 2000. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
