Hutt police start Facebook investigation – man using fake ID to contact teenage girls

Hutt Valley Police have started an investigation into a man’s inappropriate communications with young teenage girls, using the Facebook social networking site.

Detective Kylee Cusin says “The suspect has created a fictitious presence under the false name of ‘Nick Davis’ for the purpose of facilitating these communications”.

Police are appealing for any young females who have had any communication of this nature with ‘Nick Davis’ on Facebook to contact Detective Kylee Cusin at the Hutt Valley Police.

Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
