Zombierun, the scariest run ever, is coming to Wellington in October. Zombierun is an interactive apocalyptic 5 km run through a zombie infested quarantine area. But participants are not just running against the clock – they are running from blood-thirsty, virus-infected, brain-eating zombies!

Wellington registrations for the run on the 20th of Oct opened up last week.

Says Roy Hoogmoed, organiser of the Zombierun events: “It’s a really interesting event. People react all totally different to finding themselves in such an extreme scenario.

“It’s this combination of interactivity (participants have to find vaccines to survive) fun and horror, that makes zombierun such a unique and awesome event.”
