Stena Alegra repairs continue, but no disruption for passengers

News from KiwiRail
Repairs to the Stena Alegra hull, which was damaged this week in high winds while berthing in Wellington, are progressing well.

While initial estimates were that the ship would return to service for the 8pm Sunday sailing, it is now projected that repairs will be completed in time for the Stena Alegra to sail at 5pm on Monday.

The Kaitaki ferry will undertake the Sunday 8pm crossing in place of the Stena Alegra. There will be no disruption to passengers or freight customers.

Customers should continue to check the Interislander website timetable page on https://www.interislander.co.nz/Timetable.aspx
