News from NZ Police
Wairarapa Police are seeking Micheal Kane McRae, 33, who is actively avoiding the Police. Two warrants for his arrest have been issued for wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Police are also seeking to locate an associate of McRae, April Lorna Marie Jackson. She is 20 years old and is n breach of her bail conditions. She is due to next reappear on 12 June in the Masterton District Court.

Detective Peter Donaldson says “We have information that McRae may be in the Wellington, Manawatu or Hawke’s Bay areas. Police in these areas are aware we are looking for McRae and are on the look out for him.”

“My only message to McRae is that it is only a matter of time before we catch up with him so he might is well front up now. I would warn anyone assisting him to evade Police that it is likely they will also face charges. Police have been regularly calling in on people known to him and this will continue until he is located.”

Police advise that McRae is known to carry weapons and should not be approached by the public. Anyone seeing him should contact their local Police station immediately.
