A 28 year old woman has been arrested and charged with arson after a fire at the Electoral Commission’s offices in Manners Street.

The alleged arson on 15 July was set in an unused kitchen area on one of the floors of Sovereign House used by the Electoral Commission. The fire caused moderate damage to the kitchen and activated the sprinkler system causing further damage.
