The Green Party’s campaign will have a touch of starpower, with actress Anna Paquin offering to help put up election billboards in Wellington.
The Hollywood-based New Zealander, who’s visiting Wellington this week, is the sister-in-law of Greens co-leader Russel Norman, and responded to his tweet about campaign signs, asking if he needed a hand.
The True Blood star says she and actor husband Stephen Moyer are “ready, willing and able” to help, telling fans they support Dr Norman and his party.
The latest celebrity endorsement follows backing for the party from actors Robyn Malcolm and Lucy Lawless, and high-profile Kiwi musicians.
