Hutt City Libraries leading online learning with 2500 free tutorials

Hutt City Libraries are the first in New Zealand to offer access to – a world-renowned online tutorial service.

Hutt City Libraries have subscribed to so Hutt City residents can access more than 2,500 courses free from any Hutt City library.

Tutorials are delivered online by experts who are the best in their field, passionate about their subject matter and know how to teach.
Sandra Mann, Divisional Manager, Libraries says, “Our libraries are all about life-long learning and is a perfect complement to that.”

Topics are diverse – from building business relationships, Facebook for business, game design, sales tips for artists and bands to programmes like Dreamweaver, Photoshop and JavaScript. People can pick and choose the bits they want or commit to a couple of hours of in-depth learning.

Business event will showcase
All local businesses are invited to an evening where Hutt City Libraries will demonstrate their new suite of business resources.
